Locals Forecast connects surfers with independent local forecasters who publish human surf forecasts for the breaks they actually surf. Browse free forecasts from anyone, and rate accuracy after windows close. One Premium subscription unlocks every forecaster’s full archive.

Tap “Go Premium” from your account or any locked forecast. Premium is a single all-access subscription — $10/mo or $100/yr — that unlocks every forecaster’s full forecasts, not just one. It’s purchased in the app on iOS or on the web.

New Premium subscribers get a 7-day free trial with full access to every forecaster. Your card is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

Go to Account → Subscriptions and tap Cancel next to the forecaster. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Subscriptions renew automatically and are generally non-refundable — but we’re reasonable. If something went wrong, email us and we’ll make it right. Purchases made through Apple are handled and refunded by Apple.

After a forecast’s window closes, readers give it a thumbs up or down for accuracy. A forecaster’s score reflects their community ratings over time.

Go to Account → Become a forecaster, set up your profile, and connect Stripe for payouts. Once connected, you can publish forecasts and set a subscription plan with an optional 7-day free trial.

Forecaster payouts run through Stripe Connect. Locals Forecast keeps a small platform fee per transaction; the rest is paid out to your connected Stripe account on Stripe’s schedule.

You can delete your account anytime from Account → Delete account. This removes your profile, forecasts, and reviews, and cancels active billing.
